Audrey, a skilled musician at a very young age, is able to alter and control sound and sound waves with a thought. With this power, she can accomplish many things; such as using sound as a powerful and deadly force, creating high-frequency sounds, or creating an absence of sound. Sound can be formed into something physical, a wall of sound waves capable of mass destruction. Audrey was not learned to extent of her ability, though her power proves to be a force to be reckoned with. You prowess of all things sound gave her the name 'Forte', the musical term meaning 'loud'.
Physical Description||
Audrey departed from her blonde cousins and friends, with strikingly dark brown hair. One could mistake the short tresses for black. She has it cut in a strange fashion, with longer bangs on either side of her face and shorter in the back. Her eyes match her hair, possibly darker so. Her skin is only lightly tanned, so she appears to be quite pale. Her body is tall and limber, with a frame rising to five feet and eight inches. She weighs a mere one hundred and thirty pounds, though a majority of her weight is muscle. Even though she appears rather boyish, it is quite clear that she is female. Forte wears a black full-body suit trimmed with lime. On the back bears the X-men emblem. This outfit also includes black combat boots and a tan corduroy duffle coat. (for colder weather) When in more casual wear, Forte wears an umber militant-style jacket with a crisp white linen shirt underneath, plain khaki cargos and white hightops.
Personality||
As far as Fortei's personality goes, she's difficult to figure out. When faced with new people, she comes off as a very deep thinker, brooding even. When warmed up to, one discovers her light-hearted, humorous side. Forte also has anger problems. Certain things strike a nerve with her and invoke vengeful wrath. She seems to become depressed during winter, as if her soul dies. When things warm up, she comes back to life with the plants. Overall, she's laidback and cheerful. Her favorite pastimes are playing cello, reading, and cooking.
History||
When Audrey turned eight, she was an accomplished cello player. Her parents, Katrina and Josiah, loved Audrey very much. They encouraged her musical career and never even suspected that their only child could be a mutant. At one of Audrey's concerts, when she was thirteen, her powers were unleashed. She became angry with the stage manager when he was disrespectful to her family. The force of sound from her powers injured many and left one dead..the stage manager. Audrey felt incredible guilt, and her parents were sympathetic. The decided it would only be safe for Audrey if she went somewhere for help. At this concert, in Russia, she met up with Piotr "Peter" Nikolaievitch Rasputin, know to the X-men as Colossus. He extended to her an offer at Xavier's school. Audrey accepted and headed to campus.
