In comes Eden

[Griffin]

Eden (preferably known as Griffin) enters the academy with her brother Larry.
"C'mon its not so bad, least your gonna have some new friends!", Larry remarked.
Eden shot eye daggers at him! The potted plant on the table beside Larry started to reach out and grow in his direction. Reaching out trying to wrap around his hand.
"Hey, yo stop it Eden! This is kinda freaky, being attacked by a plant!" Larry said, jumping back.
"Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to... It did it by itself...Are you ok?" Eden asked. Even as she spoke the plant shrank back.
"Hey listen, Eden, I, uh, kinda have to get going I have a date with Harriette. You'll be ok, just wait and someone will come!", without so much as a backwards glance he strode out of the academy.
Great now I'm alone in this freak place!

[WishingStar]

Wish, who had just recently wished herself like Jean Grey again, was listening to all the toughts of the mutants. Wandering near the entrance, she heard one cold thought. Great now I'm alone in this freak place!

Wish poked her head around the corner, red eyes glaring at the girl standing there. The girls appearance didn't shock her in the least. She had seen worse transformations. "What freak place?" She demanded.

[Griffin]

Griffin stared at the girl. "Uh, sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone its just that I was mad, cuz I can do these things..." Her voice trailed off, thinking of what she had done was painful.
What am I doing! She doesn't need to know all my problems! Tears welled up in Griffin's eyes. I think there is something wrong with me! She ran her fingers through her long, streaked hair, eying the girls pink pigtails. I dig her hair though!

[WishingStar]

"It's a natural color," Wish said with a smile. "Never dyed it. And there is nothing wrong with you. I've seen worse." The door was swinging open behind Griffin. Wish put her hand out, and the door slammed shut.

[Griffin]

Griffin gazed at her feet for one long moment. When she looked up her eyes where filled with tears and her bottom lip was quivering.
" You wouldn't say there was nothing wr-wrong with me if you knew what I d-did!", a tear ran down her cheek, " At my old school, they t-teased me, 'bout my hair and m-my wings, everyday this is where I went. Then w-when a couple of the teachers started, it w-went to far! I lost my t-temper! I don't k-know how I did it! The school gardens attacked the school!", Griffin was crying openly now. And the few potted plants in the room started to grow at an amazingly fast rate, reaching out crawling along the floor towards Wish. " T-the school is now l-like a jungle, overgrown by there o-own gardens! Two teachers were never f-f-found again, as well as three kids. I dunno if t-there still in there or if t-they were strangled or what..."
Griffin fell to her knees, sobbing, her face in her hands. The horrificly enlarged, vine-like, potted plants still crept along faster than ever, towards Wish, winding up and around her legs.
Griffin looked up, her face tearstained, her green eyes glowing, "Just now I set a potted plant on my b-brother without meaning to! Can you still say there is nothing wrong with me?"

Wish felt pity for the girl. "Don't worry. There's many others here who have gone through what you did. Some even went through worse. You're with us now, where no one is going to make fun of you. Well, some might, but that's life."

She put out her hand to the plants, and spoke clearly. "I wish that you went back to normal." The plants wavered, and retreated to their pots.

[Griffin]

Griffin gave one shaking sob then ran over to Wish and hugged her sobbing into her shoulder. "I've never had a real friend before!", Griffin said shakely.

Wishe gave a small smile. "I didn't either, before I met other mutants. Don't worry, friends are easy enough to make." After a while, she tried to squirm out of Griffins hold. "Hugs are nice, but I can't breathe!"
