A figure entirely clad in black slipped out of the mansion. Sure, it was a day off, but she prefered to constantly be hidden and out of the limelight, so to speak. Avoiding large groups of people, especially ones with mirrors, Jessica walked over towards the trails leading through the forest. Once inside, she looked to see if anyone wsa near her, and whistled softly. Quite out of character for her, but it had the desired effect. A sleek, red roan Arabian mare cantered down the path towards her. Tilting her head up to look at her mare, the girl who resided in shadows smiled at her old friend.
"Hey Wishful. What've you been up to?" The horse, fully known as Wishful Thinking, whickered at the petite girl who smiled and gently stroked her soft neck. "Yeah, I know that feeling well. I think I'm getting sick or something, I mean get this. I actually helped someone today." She twisted her face until it was scrunched up. The mare eyed her with concern. "It just seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Yeah I know, totally out of character. I must be going soft or something. Me! Soft! Talk about the oxymoron to end all.... oxymorons." Jessica smirked at her own statement, she wasn't even making any sense. Carefully unbuttoning her trench coat, as she was getting rather hot, she gave the mare one last pet, and vaulted lightly onto her back. The horse wore no bridle, but didn't need one. Leaning over to talk to her red and white mare, she pulled her hat a little more down over her face. "So what do you think? Will a good ride make the effects wear off?" With a laugh, she clucked to Wishful, and horse and rider began to amble down the path.
