Sitting on a black towel near the edge of the pool, Era drummed her fingers nervously against her chin.
She wore a black one piece swim suit that crossed in the back. A few students were swimming in the shallow end, throwing a beach ball back and forth between the four of them.
Era pulled of her black elbow-length gloves (she only ever did this when she went swimming), and put them under her black rimmed sunglasses. She pushed herself of the ground without using her hands, and walked over to the deep end of the pool.
She checked the pool below, to make sure no one was swimming under water and elegantly dove off the side, splitting through the water with a very small splash.

Wish watched the others from a branch in a tree. She was in the shade, not willing to wander out into the sun. Sigh... Should I, or should I not? After a moment, she wandered out. She dipped a finger into the pool, and then slipped in. She dove, streaking to the bottom. She sat there, watching the others.

Griffin watched the girl stiining on the bottom of the pool. She tilted her head wondering if she was there for a specific purpose. Being Griffin, someone sitting alone on the bottom of a pool was something worth investigating.
So, Griffin, walked over to the diving board and did a gracious 'flip' dive in the pike position. Lazily swimming through the water she sat in front of the girl. She pointed upwards motioning for the girl to come up to the surface. Then pushed off the bottom herself.

Wish watched, amused, as the girl asked her to come to the surface. She obeyed, pushing off to rise up. When she reached the surface, she pushed her pink hair out of her eyes.

Griffin wrung out her sopping wet green streaked hair. "Sorry if I disturbed you but I was wondering what you were doing and..." Griffin grabbed a loose beach ball off the surface of the water " I you will honour me to a game of ball? I'm Griffin by the way! And I'm totally new here!"

" In my opinion, anybody who doesn't run at the sight of you is worth being friends with, whether they're 8 or 80! Oh but sorry! I just called you my friend and you have every right not to be!" Griffin said. She raised the strap of her blue-and-yellow-hawaii-style-flower tankini, which had previously slid down her arm.

Griffin tossed the ball over." Just asking... am I one of the two because you are the only person that was nice to me so far in this place. So basically your my only one, but friendships can only work two ways!" Griffin smiled at Wish.

Wish smiled back. "Actually, yes. The other one is Pacifia, another mutant. I've met others, but I'm not sure... Oh, and Amaayla, too." She batted the ball back at Griffin.

"Hey can you, like, introduce them to me? My time here would be much more enjoyable if you did!", Griffin threw the ball back to Wish,"The people here seem OK, though I'm not sure either. They all seem kinda distant!" She held up a hand to shade her eyes from the sun.

"Sure, I'll introdouce you to them. And lots of people have a reason to be ditstant. Some can't touch others, for fear of hurting them. And others destroy whole buildings when they get angry. I've lost count of how many times the stable burned to the ground." She tossed the ball back.

Griffin reached up to grab the ball, but missed, and the ball went flying across the water. Griffin swam graciously through the water, found the ball then swam back. "Sorry about that! But surely, aren't we all here to help one another? So the distant ones shouldn't really be! I mean, for the people looking for friends they're not exactly making life easy, are they! We're all the same, kinda, we should stick together-not let some drift off! Oh and if the stables burn then how come all of the horses are OK?"

Entering, Amaayla smiled as she fixed the neckline of her peasant top. Sitting on a towel, she smiled at the sight of Wish and a new girl with green streaks. Getting up, she walked over and sat by the pool.
"Hey Wish, whats up?"
Then, she turned to the green-streaked girl and bowed. "Hi, I'm Amaalya or Channel. Personally, I prefer the last one. I see you are new."
Shrinking back as she spied the water, she smiled wanly. "Forgive me if I don't come swimming but yeah, I can't..."
